Thought this deserved a link

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YF1T52WIt20

Wow My mom and dad where in the deaf ministry and signing when I was a kid, We were baptist so the signing was very text book. So imagine you see on tv the evangelist preaching a powerful sermon such as at a revival then imagine you didn't get to see the sermon spoken you simply had to rely on reading it. This is often the way I see how deaf people must get church. I came across the above video of a guy interpreting the song "heart of Worship, and I think If I were deaf and watching I would get it as its meant to be gotten. So watch I think the passion comes thru.

Watch the one above and then this one is as good

Starfield Everything Is Beautiful

So I have been hearing this song on the radio and like most songs I recognize the tune and continue with the thousand and one thoughts in my head, well a week ago god said listen and the words hit me. It seems to be a theme god is reciting. The sermon in church the last few weeks has been on the journey to the cross and there was reflection on Jesus in the garden speaking to god and saying your will be done. The message I think god is sending is I have a plan trust me I am god. So my struggle and prayers have been to give me the power to truly let go and say God no matter what happens or is happening it is your will glory be to you.

Worn out, wasted
Like a bird with broken wings
Sometimes grace reminds me
I don't get to be the king

But love it washes over
Love it pulls me closer
Love it changes everything

Everything is beautiful
Even when the tears are falling
I don't need a miracle to believe
Even in the crashing down
I can hear redemtion calling

And everything is beautiful to me

Sweetly, You release me
From the weight of what I've done
The trigger trips the hammer
But the bullets never come

And love like a landslide
Like the wind
Spins around me pulls me in
At it's unveiling, I begin

Taming a liger

I have started reading a book called "Taming a liger" unexpected spiritual lessons from Napolean Dynamite, by Jeff Dunn and Adam Palmer. In the first chapter the following verse jumped at me
Micha 6:8
He has told you, O man, what is good;
And what does the LORD require of you
But to do justice, to love kindness,
And to walk humbly with your God?

These are words to live by.

I will let you know how the book turns out

For My Son

Just Think
By Roy Lessin
Just think,
you're here not by chance,
but by God's choosing.
His hand formed you
and made you the person you are.
He compares you to no one else.
You are one of a kind.
You lack nothing
that His grace can't give you.
He has allowed you to be here
at this time in history
to fulfill His special purpose
for this generation.

well done

good song good video

Who are you mistaken for..

I shouldn’t have to tell you who I am
Cause who I am should be speaking for itself
Cause if I am who I want to be
Then who you see won’t even be me
Oh the more and more I disappear
The more and more He becomes clear

Facing The Giants

Facing The Giants

What do you get when you have a bunch of Christians make a low budget movie with no budget, an all volunteer cast and no special effects. Well there are allot of movies who have had more and done less . This movie did have God as an executive producer in my opinion as every other seen was a WOW seen. I say don't rent this movie BUY IT because after seeing it you will likely want to own it. Great movie Awesome message and i think even non Christians may see this movie and find Christ.

Chalk One Up for God

Chalk One Up for God

Gregory Koukl

divider

A certain atheist professor of philosophy had as a primary goal to prove to his students God couldn't exist. At the end of every semester he would say to his class, "Anyone who believes in God is a fool. If God existed, He could stop this piece of chalk from hitting the ground and breaking. Such a simple task to prove that He is God, and yet he can't do it." Then he would drop the chalk and it would shatter into a hundred pieces on the tile floor of the classroom.

If you confront anyone who tries this silly trick, here's how to respond.

Tell the students that you will prove how futile this professor's test is. Have someone stand right in front of you with a piece of chalk and declare that if you really existed in front of them, you could catch the chalk and keep it from hitting the ground and breaking. Then have them drop the chalk and allow it to fall the ground and shatter.

Then say, "I guess this proves I don't exist and that anyone who believes otherwise is a fool. Is this a good test for the existence of God? Of course not. The only thing this professor's exercise proves is that if God does exist, He's not a circus animal that can be teased into jumping through hoops to appease the whim of foolish men.
